What is proficiency? What should I expect to be able to do?
Examples of what language production will sound like at each proficiency level while talking about tacos:
Novice Low: beef, lettuce, cheese, yum!
Novice Mid: beef, cheese on top, lettuce on top, no hot sauce, eat every day
Novice High: I like tacos, beef and I like beef. I put cheese. My friend John, no cheese. He doesn't like cheese.
